Victorian Lawn Tea with Victrola DJ MAC

Sunday, May 17, 1:30 - 3:30pm

We’ve set back the clock to the start of the last century and invite you to partake of this Victorian-inspired afternoon.

In the early 1900s Victrolas were a popular way to enjoy music at home. Recordings offered the range of musical styles and voices for listening, sing-along, and dancing. If you’ve visited the Voelker Orth Museum, you’ve likely heard one playing in the parlor.

DJ MAC brings his crank-up horned antique phonographs with music from his collection of vintage recordings. There’s tea. a Maiibowle German seasonal punch, sweet and savory finger food, and the garden setting for what promises to be a lively afternoon.

If it rains, the party moves indoors. Attendees are encouraged to dress in period attire.
