Sarang-Bang: Talk & Reception

Join us for a reception & informal talk with Eun Young Choi.
Visual Artist EunYoung Choihas been creating a new artwork onsite. She is inviting visitors to share family and community stories and contribute to the installation. The completed artwork remains on view through August. Story-sharing continues over tea on Tuesday afternoons through June.
Watercolor Painting Workshops
Tuesdays, June 3—24, 1 -3:30 pm
Helaine Sollers offers guided instruction in painting with watercolors.
The 4-session series is designed for both beginners and anyone furthering their craft. It is an exploratory approach to the watercolor medium. Helaine encourages the development of individual style and expression. Participants have use of the garden and the air-conditioned workshop annex.
The workshops are suitable for tween, teens and adults. You can attend any or all sessions. Painting supplies are provided. There’s iced tea on hand for the summery afternoons.
The series is offered $50/ $40 for students & members. Space permitting, single session attendance is available $15/$12 per session.
Advanced registration is encouraged.

Pigeons! - A Birdy Birthday July 27, 1:30 - 3:30pm We take a look at pigeons - from the tough urban ones to fussy doves. The day marks our benefactor’s birthday with an ice cream treat. Elisabetha Orth was an avid birder.
