Learn a variety of monoprint techniques including stenciling. This fun-filled medium is fast moving and full of surprises. Gelli prints are used for wall hung art, artist’s books, cards, collages and scrapbooking. For both new and experienced print-makers

Springtime Planting Workshop & Gardening Tips

It’s time to get your hands in some soil!
Revive your house plants, and if you have any outside space, get your terrace or garden into shape in spring. Sarah Burns, the Museum’s gardener, offers advice and tips for the home gardener. Everyone gets to take home a new plant, with care instructions.

Sunshine & Cheer Cartoons

Experience the magical world of cartoon animation with film historian Tommy Jose Stathes. It’s a special spring program with films drawn from Stathes extensive archive of vintage 16mm film prints from the 1920s-40s. These cartoons still delight and amuse audiences of all ages, today. The films are projected on 16mm film, in much the manner families like the Orths enjoyed movies in their home through much of the 20th century. The program is suitable for children and adults.
Light refreshments served after the screening. Admission $5 / $4 for members. Children under 3, free.
