Volunteers play an important role at the Voelker Orth Museum. They help the museum staff with education programs, gardening, research, administration, visitor services and outreach, and with public programs.
We have ongoing volunteer and internship positions, as well as one time volunteer opportunities. Some examples:

Fall Planting of Spring Flower Bulbs Volunteers
Mondays in November , 10-noon and 1-3pm shifts
Sarah Burns, the Museum’s Gardener is seeking help with getting spring bulbs into the soil in November, There’s morning (10-noon) and afternoon (1-3) time slots to help in the garden each Monday (when it is not raining) for the month.
No experience required - though welcomed. Dress comfortably. We can supply gloves, tools and instruction. Let us know if you can volunteer, once or multiple times.
