On these open days, guided tours of our period rooms are offered for up to eight people at a time. Visitors are asked to wear masks indoors. Suggested donation $5.

The grounds and Museum’s first floor are wheelchair accessible.

Holiday Closings:  The Museum is not open for tours Sunday, February 20th. We are also closed Easter, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas & New Year.

Garden Hours: The garden offers a quiet respite and is open free of charge. There are plantings to enjoy year-round. The garden is open weekdays during our regular office hours (10-4) and on Sundays from noon- 4pm. These are times when staff is available on premises as needed.  Visitors are welcome to sit or stroll at these open times.

Donations are welcome and appreciated. Children must be accompanied by adults in the garden and at our programs.

We require all visitors to wear masks indoors and when attend outdoor events for the present.  If you are not well or have been in contact with someone exhibiting COVID signs or testing positive, we ask that you refrain from visiting.  Our staff & volunteers follow these protocols.

Wipes, hand-sanitizer and facemasks are available to you when visiting. We do routine cleaning of the facilities, limit hours and numbers of guests, but do not use any special filtering or sanitizing systems.  Please note, having taken these precautions, that the Museum cannot be held responsible for transmission of COVID from unaware carriers on premises.

Our regular office hours are Monday-Friday, 10-4pm.  Staff is also available via email and we regularly check for phone messages throughout the week.
