Cindy De la Cruz is a book illustrator graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Julia Skyba has been documenting events at the Museum after graduating Stony Brook, and before entering graduate School at L.I.U. this Fall.
On view is a series of the original watercolors by Cindy De la Cruz, painted for the pamphlet Weeds at the Voelker OrthMuseum. Julia Skyba offers a photographic series capturing activities the museum this past fall.

Dora Sofia Caputo, a Little Neck resident, is an avid photographer capturing the beauty of nature. Through the artist's lens, one can more fully enjoy the summer garden, tuning into the magnificent color and structure of dahlias, sunflowers and garden wonders gloriously portrayed in this series of photographs. Ms. Caputo has exhibited at venues in the NYC metropolitan area, including at the Voelker Orth in 2010.
Join us in September for a program on growing dahlias. Details to follow.
